Mixing Operator

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MIXING OPERATOR IN ALSIP, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Mixing Operator to join our team in Alsip, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for the safe operation and loading of mixing equipment to produce high quality food products in compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will possess a GED or high school diploma, ability to communicate with individuals and small groups in English, and more listed below.

• Starting at $18/hour

• 3rd shift 10pm to 6:30am
• Located in Alsip, Illinois

• Verify and ensure accurate counts of raw materials needed to produce a blended product.
• Addition of raw materials to the blender following the manufacturing sequence on the formula.
• Discharging blended products from the blender using the prescribed screen size.
• Following specified customer sampling requirements of blended products.
• Filling out of daily schedule control to document production, quality, and performance.
• Cleaning and sanitizing the blender, sifter and support equipment including work area.
• Disposal of trash and garbage containers.
• Adherence to all department procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

• Ability to safely handle 50-pound bags and boxes of raw material while loading it into a mixer, per specified recipes
• Ability to safely operate Mixing and Packaging equipment while consistently producing a quality product and adhering to company policies
• Ability to follow precise instructions in English
• Interest in learning to work on multiple different pieces of equipment, possibly on different lines
• Ability to read, write and speak in English including the ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English;
  Ability to write simple correspondence in English
• Ability to communicate with individuals and small groups in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Within the first 90 days of employment, must be able to complete the initial Alsip Mixer Operator Training check list and must be able to complete all tasks successfully as documented on the position scorecard. (Provided upon hire.)
• Availability to work overtime on Saturday, as needed. Please note, weekly hours are capped at a maximum of 60 hours and 6 days.
• GED or High School Diploma
• Three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge or the ability to gain knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and Red Zone software.
