2nd Shift: IBC Blow Mold Operator

IBC Blow Mold Operator (Open)

Under direct supervision, performs entry-level routine activities associated with various types of assembly machine operation and/or setup.

2nd Shift

3pm-11:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Receives the bottle from the blow molder, realizes a visual inspection, removes the remaining flashes, checks the bottle's for contamination, weight, installs metal head on bottle, leak test and installs plugs.
• Completes verification of the quality of all work in process and all finished goods. To conduct and assist in changeovers.
• Grinding of flash and rejected parts
• Performs housekeeping duties such as sweeping, storing product, materials, tooling, and supplies.
• Performs count of inventory of component parts as needed.
• Pallet jack utilization to transport product to designated area.
• May ensure that data entry processes are implemented.
• Incorporates and maintains safety observances, including but not limited to, use of PPE, ensuring guards and safety features are working, and promoting good daily safety practices and habits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
• Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Compensation Range:

The pay for this position is $27.55 per hour. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
