Production Workers - Alsip, IL (3rd shift)

Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Production Workers to join their team. As a Production Workers, you will be part of the Operations team supporting production and material handling needs.

** Shift:
** 7pm/9pm-7:30am

Mon-Fri, some Saturdays for OT, varies 8-12 hour shifts

** What's the Job?*
* + Operate assigned machinery and/or equipment and/or perform physical loading/unloading of materials in a safe and productive manner in accordance with Operational Standard Work and supervisor instructions.

+ Operate equipment associated with producing units and/or operate material handling equipment as assigned.

+ Follow all applicable safety policies and practices, including using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ensuring machine guards and safety features are working, and promoting good safety practices.

+ Load and unload raw goods and/or finished products as needed.

+ Perform visual inspection of product to ensure quality, and complete housekeeping and general maintenance tasks within the work area.

** What's Needed?*
* + Willingness to work 8-12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays for OT as needed.

+ Ability to adhere to work location rules and procedures and follow supervisor direction.

+ Comfort operating equipment and/or performing material handling tasks while maintaining safe work habits.

+ Attention to detail for visual product inspection and quality checks.

+ Reliability in keeping the work area clean and supporting general maintenance responsibilities.
