As a
Food Scientist, your responsibilities will include:

• Responsibility for the design, planning, execution, and reporting of experiments and projects.

• Completing product formulation activities to driveefficientproduction of safe and regulatory complaint food products.

• Supporting Innovation and Sensory activities that support thelong-term strategy of the organization.

• Representing Product Development in professional business relationships with Griffith Foods client and supplier base.

• Drive new productconceptsfor product category by contributing ideas.

The
Food Scientist
positioniswell-suited for you if you:

• Have customer facing experience in the food manufacturing industry

• Have experience with QSR customers and processors

• Are able to function as a scientist todevelopnew and optimized products.

Qualified candidates willhave:

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Meat Science, or relatedtechnicaldegree

• Master'sdegree is preferred.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience of
  
  Research & Product Development or Quality Systems experience within the food industry.

• Must be able to consume and taste meat, poultry, and seafood products that maycontainallergens including but not limited to wheat, dairy, and egg.

• Willingness and abilityto work onsite in
  Alsip, IL 5days per week

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% on short notice.
