Maintenance Technician

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience in mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance who can ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. You will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting plant operations.

• Maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Perform daily safety checks and equipment inspections
• Respond to service calls and emergency maintenance issues
• Develop and follow weekly maintenance plans
• Prepare daily reports and monthly preventative maintenance schedules
• Communicate with Plant Manager to minimize downtime
• Coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting production
• Order, stock, and manage inventory of parts and tools
• Provide monthly cost reduction recommendations
• Coordinate with external maintenance vendors and services
• Prepare facility for audits and vendor visits
• Operate forklifts and lifting equipment as needed

• Ability to perform multiple skilled trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
• Experience using tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment
• Welding experience required
• Strong electrical aptitude
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Ability to detect issues and complete repairs independently
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to respond to emergency situations
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights (up to 30 ft)
• Experience operating forklifts and jib cranes
• Basic computer skills
• Overtime and weekend availability as needed
