Roles and Responsibilities
- Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, ramps, Prom areas, and patron parking lot.
- Machine sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dusts furniture. Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
- Washes window glass, door panels, and sills.
- Cleans wall and ceiling fixtures. Empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes restroom supplies.
- Responds to housekeeping problems (broken glass, spills, backups, etc.).
- Employees may be required to perform duties outside of normal job description for efficiency or guest service.
- Complies with company policies and regulations, and internal controls for this position.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Well‑groomed appearance.
- Sense of urgency in duties.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Ability to use and control mechanical equipment.
- Ability to work around dust and in confined spaces.
- Ability to maneuver in small, limited spaces, and up/down stairs, and reach above shoulder level.
- Ability to transport all supplies.
- Ability to operate equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, mop, and broom.
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and handle fumes and airborne particles.
- Ability to walk, stand, and work on hands and knees for long periods.
- Physically mobile: push, pull, carry, lift up to 25 lbs, push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
