Hours:

28 hours per week; 8:30am-4pm shift; 4 days per week including Saturdays

• Follows & performs material handling according to the warehouse dock area flow chart.
• Performs cleaning of dock area; sweeps, mops and ensures it is maintained in a clean and inviting manner, ensuring safety compliance.
• Assists donors with carrying donated items in/out of the warehouse and providing tax receipts, maintaining good relationships.
• Assists with monitoring inspection of furnishings and appliances for resale, recycle, or discard.

• Continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
• Ability to drive a truck and forklift safely, in compliance with laws, policies, and regulations.
• Frequent periods of mobility including standing, walking, climbing, bending, squatting, and lifting.
• Extensive physical effort for lifting, moving, and carrying heavy objects up to 100 lbs. frequently.
• Exposure to outdoor conditions with associated discomfort (rain, cold, snow, heat, noise, dust, dirt).

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year prior warehouse experience preferred, or any equivalent combination of training and experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within an established timeframe).
