Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Env Svcs Wkr/Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning duties to maintain a clean and aseptic environment throughout the hospital. The role may be assigned to patient areas cleaner, non‑patient areas cleaner, trash technician, special care unit cleaner, or other positions as needed. Maintains a professional demeanor in accordance with service excellence standards while interacting with patients and coworkers.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for cleaning and servicing areas in building according to assignments. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting rooms, wall washing, window washing, cleaning light fixtures, upholstery, changing curtains and drapes, cleaning vents, scrubbing restrooms, floor stripping, carpet extracting. Performs routine repetitive tasks under supervision, ensures safety, reports unsafe conditions. Requires initiative, judgment, and availability of supplies and equipment. May be required to follow additional instructions from supervisors.

Ability to understand and communicate in English both verbally and in writing, follow written and/or oral instructions, record completed assignments. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Experience:
