Chrome Recovery Operator 4 - HIDES​/TANNERY

Job Title

The team member must follow all safety policies and procedures while monitoring and maintaining proper water quality for all discharged water. This role is responsible for recycling chrome for reuse, performing equipment maintenance, and completing necessary repairs. The team member must understand and support personal safety, compliance, and legal requirements; be willing to cross-train in other departments; work nights, weekends, and flexible hours;

learn the chemical and mechanical filtration system; and communicate effectively with multiple departments.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of Hides Tannery experience preferred. Maintenance background required.

Computer

Skills:

Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Communication

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Bilingual skills preferred.

Certifications:

Must pass the respiratory exam; SCBA certification is required.

Special

Skills:

Must be self-motivated.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift more than 70 lbs.

Travel:
Minimal travel

Shift hours:

Sunday Monday off

Tuesday and Wednesday 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm

Thursday 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Friday and Saturday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
