Skilled Performance Group is seeking experienced Journeyman Pipe fitters for a unique equipment preservation role on a large-scale data center construction project in Amarillo, Texas. This position focuses on protecting and maintaining high-value mechanical assets throughout the construction lifecycle. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and have significant industrial pipe fitting experience, especially with mission-critical equipment.

• 4+ years of industrial pipe fitting, mechanical, or equipment maintenance experience
• OSHA 10 Construction Certification (required)
• Experience with pumps, compressors, motors, valves, piping systems, and mechanical skids
• Ability to read equipment drawings, P&IDs, and manufacturer documentation
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to follow manufacturer and project-specific preservation requirements
• Physical ability to walk large construction sites, stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as required
• Follow all company, client, and project safety requirements

• NCCER Pipefitter Certification (preferred, but not required)
• Experience in data center, mission-critical, industrial, manufacturing, petrochemical, or power generation environments
