Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking a Custodian (1433) to deliver administrative support functions in the Maintenance department for the employees and buildings in the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful trauma‑informed care language.
• Perform moderately complex custodial work at the Bivins Pointe location and other assigned areas.
• Clean and care for the building and premises, maintain custodial equipment, and fulfill minor equipment repairs and installation.
• Requisition supplies as needed and coordinate with available staff to cover custodial work caused by staff shortage.
• Coordinate with the Support Services Director in the cleaning and custodial maintenance of other areas and buildings as needed.
• Work under limited supervision with some latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
• Possess the knowledge and experience in all custodial operations.
• Attend training as required by Human Resource Development and/or custodial manager.
• Adhere to TPC Business Code of Conduct and report concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised.

Qualifications & Credentials:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One semester (12 credit hours) of accredited college work, OR a minimum of 8 th grade reading comprehension level as evidenced by a qualifying score on the Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE).
• 1 year of janitorial or general cleaning work in an industrial environment.
• Perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner.

• Valid Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
• At least 18 years of age.
