Overview
We're looking for a motivated Residential Pest Control Technician with experience in sales and home inspections. This role focuses on conducting detailed inspections, identifying pest issues, and closing sales while delivering excellent customer service.
In this position, you will have a daily route where you will treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments, techniques, and inspections. You will strive to solve customers' pest concerns while exemplifying excellent customer service, maintaining customer relationships, and providing strategic recommendations.
You will perform pest control in the American Fork, Utah area. You will be operating remotely from our Orem, UT office. New Hire training will be conducted in Orem, Utah for at least one week.
Responsibilities- Conduct detailed inspections to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Travel daily routes to treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments and techniques.
- Closely monitor and manage customer relationships, delivering excellent customer service.
- Sales-driven role: communicate findings and present treatment plans, preventative measures, and additional available services to customers to close sales.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on inspections and customer needs.
- Minimum 6 months sales experience required.
- Minimum 6 months of home inspection experience required.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Customer-focused and self-motivated.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Clean-shaven for safety purposes (may wear a respirator).
- Comfortable going into crawl spaces and attics.
- $23 – $33+ per hour base + service & sales commissions + monthly bonuses

After training, you will receive a company vehicle you can take home, plus a fuel card for route driving. You will also receive either a company cell phone or bi-monthly reimbursement.
What to ExpectYou will be treating approximately 12 to 14 homes per day. Routes will be created daily and will include the same customers for all services to help you build relationships.
You will conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to find points of entry for insects and rodents, identify infestations, and develop appropriate treatment plans. You will communicate findings clearly with customers and share treatment plans, preventative measures, and additional services we offer to help keep customers pest-free.
