Utility Worker – Water/Wastewater Treatment Facility Facility Operations & Maintenance
· Grounds & Equipment Care Clean MVR required. We're looking for a dependable Utility Worker to support the operations and maintenance of a water/wastewater treatment facility. You'll perform routine servicing, equipment cleaning, grounds maintenance, and material hauling — keeping the facility running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in doing solid work and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

• Perform routine servicing and corrective maintenance of water and wastewater systems
• Clean vehicles, heavy equipment, bar screens, comminutors, weirs, drying beds, digesters, pumps, and other portable and stationary equipment
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections; complete minor maintenance such as oil changes and greasing
• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment to load, unload, haul, and spread sand, gravel, dirt, and waste products; dig and refill ditches and trenches
• Maintain grounds and buildings — cut grass, trim trees and bushes, rake debris, and care for lawns and ornamental plantings
• Carry and supply materials, tools, and supplies to support operations and maintenance personnel
• Maintain accurate records of materials hauled by private contractors or applied to agricultural lands
• Follow oral and written directions; build and maintain cooperative working relationships

• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR — required, no exceptions
• Ability to perform physical, hands-on labor in an outdoor facility environment
• Reliable, dependable attendance and a strong work ethic

• Basic knowledge of water/wastewater systems, pumps, vehicles, and related equipment operation and maintenance
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in vehicle, equipment, and building maintenance
