Location: Ames High School

Closing Date: 08/11/2026

Work Schedule: 3:30pm-12:00am, Monday - Friday; 12-month position (year-round)

• Cleans and maintains assigned rooms throughout the building.
• Assists in preparing the facility for evening and weekend activities.
• Secures the building and performs lock-up duties.
• Utilizes computers to enter work orders, manage email, and submit timesheets and absences.
• Communicates with staff and community members using a two-way radio and cell phone.
• Maintains building grounds during winter conditions through snow removal and ice mitigation.

• Ability to frequently lift, bend, shovel, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs. such as furniture, trash, and bags of ice melt.
• Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
