CANNABIS FACILITY MAINTENANCE TECH

Viridian Staffing's () Client is looking for a Temporary Maintenance Technician to join a fast-growing cannabis company in the Amesbury, Massachusetts, area. For the right candidate, this could convert to a permanent position.

In this role, you will have the responsibility of assisting the Maintenance Manager with routine, emergency, and scheduled maintenance and equipment upkeep in the facility and the upkeep of the facility itself. You will get the opportunity to help perform a variety of maintenance functions including but not limited to basic maintenance like patching, painting, and working with hand tools, inspection and light repair of doors, railings, lights, fans, etc.,

and daily visual inspections. You will ensure the facility is maintained, along with helping to repair any equipment malfunctions. With your proven problem solving skills, you'll strive for continuous process improvement, including but not limited to anticipating the maintenance, cleaning, and security needs of the facility. You are excited about learning new skills and are willing to develop knowledge of the building's plumbing, irrigation, security, HVAC, and electrical systems.

You should have 2+ years of experience in maintenance and general repair, including working with hand and power tools. Ideally you will have knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, AND building equipment. You have solid communication skills and are very compliance and safety minded. The ideal candidate for this role must also have basic computer knowledge. You must be eligible to work for a licensed Cannabis Company in the State of Massachusetts, which includes going through a state required badging process.

You must also be able to work on your feet and lift, carry, & balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)- You must be able to do all this safely and with extreme care and caution.

Pay: $19/hour
