Loader Operator​/Laborer

Job Summary

Responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, general cleanup, assisting drivers with additional products and overall appearance of the batch plant.

• Operate front‑end loader, bobcat, and backhoe as needed.
• Assist with batch plant start‑up and shut‑down at the beginning and end of each day.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure efficient plant operation.
• Perform and document all required plant inspections.
• Perform and document weekly bag‑house checks and maintenance.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in a clean, orderly fashion.
• Assist drivers as needed.
• Obtain supplies and parts for the plant or drivers.
• Perform lawn maintenance when necessary.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned location.
• Perform other duties related to the nature of the job on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.

• Experience, education, or skill to operate a front‑end loader, backhoe, and bobcat.
• Excellent verbal, written, and comprehension communication skills.
• Ability to perform heavy labor.
• Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required.
• Ability to work at other locations as needed.
• Good safety and driving records.
• Ability to work near, around, or on light or heavy equipment.

• Lift objects repeatedly up to 100lbs.
• Climb stairs and ladders repeatedly.
• Balance, bend, crawl, kneel, push, and pull objects repeatedly.
• Tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions.
• Reach, squat, and tolerate prolonged standing, walking, or sitting.
• Walk on uneven surfaces repeatedly.
