Position: General Maintenance, 2nd Class Operating Engineer - Hilton Anaheim

The Hilton Anaheim is looking for a General Maintenance, 2nd Class Operating Engineer to join the team! You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment throughout the facility as well as ensuring safe and proper operations.

Our property has 1,574 rooms, is newly renovated and located in the heart of California's famous Orange County, adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center and steps from the Disneyland Resort.

Ideal Candidate
  • Two (2) years working maintenance engineer background.
  • Two (2) years HVAC, Plumbing, electrical working knowledge.
  • Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot.
Hourly Pay Scale

$28.73 - $35.91

Shift

Varies PM/Overnight and to include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

As a 2nd Class Operating Engineer, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's engine room equipment and machinery in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and conduct all required periodic and preventive maintenance on all engine room equipment to include, but not limited to, boilers, chillers, pumps, electric motors, water softeners, electric generators, and hot water generators.
  • Keep and maintain accurate operation records.
  • Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
