Labourer - Six Month Temporary
Hourly Wage: $35.65
Location:
Entwistle, AB
Labourer at Drax will support the efficient operation of pellet production systems by performing construction, repair, installation, and maintenance activities. The role ensures safety compliance and participates in continuous improvement and quality control initiatives.
Responsibilities- Perform construction, repair, installation, and maintenance activities supporting pellet production systems.
- Operate equipment and tools related to maintenance and rail activities.
- Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations and corporate policies.
- Execute cleaning tasks per schedules or as assigned.
- Assist loading of rail cars and pelletized products.
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality control initiatives.
- Operate mobile equipment as assigned.
- Report safety incidents or infractions.
- Assist maintenance staff or perform basic maintenance tasks when plant is down.
- Experience in the heavy equipment industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
