Housekeeping – 2nd Shift / Part Time / Event Based

Honda Center

Compensation:
Starting hourly rate $22.50 per hour

• General cleaning and maintenance of the Honda Center area, including sweeping, mopping, picking up debris, and emptying trash throughout the arena in assigned seating sections.
• Perform overall maintenance to ensure a pleasant and safe experience for guests, keeping supplies stocked and the building free of trash and debris.
• Perform non‑event pre‑cleaning, detailing, and general upkeep of the area, including cleaning windows and floors by wiping, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Properly lift light cleaning equipment such as mop buckets, brooms, and vacuums.
• Operate necessary machinery, safety equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Demonstrate proper use of equipment and restraints when working above an open area.
• Report any safety concerns, suggestions, or other pertinent information to a supervisor.

• Detail oriented and able to perform cleaning tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to operate machinery, safety equipment, and cleaning tools safely and effectively.
• Strong communication skills to report safety concerns and remain responsive to team supervision.

• Education:
  
  Less than high school.
• Experience:
  
  0–1 year in a related cleaning or housekeeping role.
