Graduation from high school and four years' experience in two or more trades' areas; leadership training and experience desirable. - Copy of valid California Driver License required and a current K-4 DMV report (dated within 7 days of job posting).
- Knowledge of trade tools, equipment, materials, methods and techniques used in operations, general maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of training and providing work direction.
- Knowledge of District organization, operations, policies and objectives.
- Knowledge of requirements of maintaining school buildings in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
- Ability to perform a variety of skilled work in the maintenance and repair of District facilities and equipment.
- Ability to prioritize, schedule, assign and review work.
- Ability to train and provide work direction to others.
- Ability to maintain routine records and operate a computer.
- Ability to observe needed repair and to make repairs.
