- Responsibilities:
Assist in operating snow-making equipment for creating manufactured snow from water resources to produce quality snow using air, water, and fan equipment;
Operate a variety of vehicles and equipment including snow cats, snow-making machines, chairlift, rope tow, pick-up trucks with snowplow, snowmobiles, high pressure air/water pumps, air compressors;
Conduct routine inspection and minor maintenance checks on ski lodge vehicles, snow-making equipment, hand tools, small motors, and machinery; maintain equipment in good working condition;
Maintain load and unload ramps around lift stations and clear snow; monitor snow plan goals and assist with regular operations;
Assist skiers in loading and unloading of the chair lift; ensure patron safety and report any unsafe conditions or malfunctions;
Provide support to Ski Patrol during severe injuries and report incidents; keep areas clean and assist with guest management;
Operate heavy equipment for golf course maintenance and other tasks as needed; select appropriate equipment for tasks and complete multi-step assignments
