- Responsible for a variety of manufacturing plant equipment and facilities maintenance operations under general supervision.
- Perform facilities maintenance operations such as routine electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning repair work.
- Perform indoor facilities maintenance and repair such as carpentry and painting.
- Perform outdoor grounds and facilities maintenance including painting and snow removal.
- Responsible for routine inspection and preventative maintenance operations on equipment, in accordance with established schedule.
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
- High School diploma or the equivalent in education, training and experience.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years previous related manufacturing facilities and equipment maintenance experience.
- Additional specialized trades or vocational school training beyond high school is a plus.
- Physical and functional abilities including lifting up to 50 lbs daily, use of tools, operating equipment, and ability to perform tasks for up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to focus on details, recall information, comprehend and express oral and written communication, and think critically to solve problems.
- Ability to use computers and computer systems (hardware and software).
- Ability to perform day-to-day tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
- Ability to see details at close range and match/detect differences between colors.
The targeted pay range for this position is typically between $25.10 - $30.14. This position is eligible for annual bonus and overtime pay.
