Job Overview
Semiconductor Equipment Engineer – 2nd shift (1:30 pm–11 pm, Monday–Thursday, alternate Friday). Located in Andover, MA.
Responsibilities- Diagnose equipment issues using experience, system knowledge and technical manuals.
- Triage and repair equipment based on priority and operational needs.
- Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment, focusing on dry etch systems.
- Assist in predictive maintenance and SPC controls, including use of FDC software.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- University degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree.
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards.
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and schematics.
- Fundamental knowledge of SPC controls and ability to implement SPC control plans.
- Experience analyzing tool data and predictive maintenance.
- Knowledge of thin‑film metrology (ellipsometry, XRR, TEM, XPS, FTIR).
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
- Proficient use of MS Office products.
