Position: ELECTRICAL FOREMAN ** M/F

HSE Responsibilities

  • Ensures HSE policy fulfillment during his activities
  • Has a good understanding of COMPANY HSE rules
  • Assists the Supervisors on field to spread the HSE policies and put the rules in place
  • Ensures that the team under his responsibility (if any) has well understood group policies and applies them
  • Assists supervisor to write a daily basic risks analysis for specific intervention
  • Participates in safety talks before and after intervention
  • Ensures that employees under his responsibility (if any) have the required habilitation
  • Participates to key procedure audits in a proactive manner
  • Respects the waste management policy in force on site, verifying that all activities performed under his responsibility comply with it, without exceptions
Operations
  • Organises and performs on site the maintenance operations under his responsibility
  • With his teams assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC)
  • Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits) and that approved operating procedures and standard industry practice are followed during maintenance operations
  • Ensures that all maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment are carried out safely, efficiently and in strict compliance with COMPANY operating procedures and relevant statutory legislation
  • Manages interventions using the CMMS
  • Enters intervention reports in the CMMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes technical reports related to his field
  • Monitors the functioning of systems under his responsibility
  • Ensures that knowledge transfer by mentoring occurs properly within his teams and actively participates in this himself
  • Carries out, at the Supervisor request, any intervention within his field of competence
  • Takes in charge the systems under his responsibility in case of breakdown until correct operation status is achieved
Methods
  • Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyses them and suggests improvements
  • Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programmes and suggests improvements if needed
  • Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts and suggests improvements and requests modifications
Quality Assurance
  • Verifies the quality of his teams’ interventions by frequent on‑site checks
  • Ensures that the members of his teams have the qualifications and skills required for the tasks entrusted to them and, if needed, suggests corrective measures
Profile Purpose
  • He is responsible for maintenance operations within his field of competence
  • He ensures that maintenance operations under his responsibility are carried out in strict accordance with COMPANY’s current safety rules and operating procedures and standard industry practice
  • He guarantees a good level of availability of the equipment he is responsible for on production sites
  • He plays a predominant role in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training by mentoring on site
Qualifications
  • Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A‑levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent)
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations
  • A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations
  • SAP/R3 experience and know‑how
  • Ability to lead and motivate multi‑national teams
  • Pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others
  • Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site
  • Working language:
    English Bright 3.5 (or equivalent)
