Auto Detailer​/Porter

Job Description

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, dusting countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre‑wash customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Clear close vision required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Pulling / Pushing, Carrying.
• Walking 5+ minutes.
• Sitting, Standing 5+ minutes.
• Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, and/or Crawl 1+ minute.
• Operate a motor vehicle.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Withstand exposure to working near moving mechanical parts.

$15 - $18 hourly. Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
