To assist in the general upkeep and maintenance of college campus facilities, including minor repairs, routine inspections, and support of housekeeping and grounds tasks as needed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC support.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, facilities, and equipment for proper operation and safety.
  • Respond to maintenance work orders and complete assigned repairs in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and grounds departments when needed to maintain campus cleanliness and appearance.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe and proper working condition.

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance practices.
  • Requires effective communication and interpersonal skills when working with staff, students, and outside contractors.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems independently or as part of a team.
  • Requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Must have ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry heavy items during an 8-hour shift.
  • Must be comfortable using ladders and working in various weather conditions.
Academic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in general maintenance or facility services preferred.
