Maintenance Custodian Associate

Position Summary

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet, on the go, and maintaining a positive attitude to ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.

You will make an impact by ensuring a safe and clean environment for members and associates, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Clean all areas of the facility—floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles—using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment while following company procedures and guidelines.
• Respond to spills and maintain a safe and clean environment for members and associates.
• Maintain appropriate levels of company‑approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders when supplies are low.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, inclusive of applicable minimum wage requirements. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
