- Job Shift: Day
- Monitor and maintain the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of interior and exterior areas such as offices, conference rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, parking lots, and outdoor spaces across multiple sites.
- Perform routine building maintenance including painting, light bulb changes, plumbing, electrical work, light tile work, and mechanical tasks.
- Schedule and supervise cleaning and maintenance tasks with the janitorial company.
- Make routine maintenance repairs as needed.
- Schedule routine inspections and coordinate emergency repairs with outside vendors.
- Ensure proper security measures by collaborating with security system vendors or the security team.
- Maintain day‑to‑day facility operations and complete maintenance orders promptly.
- Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences for supervisors and relevant staff.
- Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions, including sidewalk snow removal, salting of walkways and parking lots, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Ensure assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use.
- Act as liaison with outside contractors for specialized problems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lawn, and landscape, obtaining quotes and presenting bids/contracts.
- Draft and implement preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
- Ensure safety standards are followed throughout the facility.
- Participate on the emergency preparedness planning team.
- Apply for or assist with applying for required environmental permits.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and reorder as needed.
- Provide Executive Car assistance, including maintenance, detailing, and relocation of vehicles.
- Run errands and perform other duties assigned by management within the ticket system.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software for creating and maintaining reports and logs.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to manage contractor performance.
- Self‑motivated and follows through to completion.
- Shift schedules may vary during snow season, requiring earlier start or later end times to accommodate building needs.
- At least two years of building maintenance duties or related experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Additional schooling or training is a plus.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the facilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Ability to bend, lift, stretch, climb and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Pass pre‑employment background checks and driving record.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
