Atlas Copco is looking for a Mobile TMC Technician to coordinate the activities at our Tool Management Centers (TMC) at multiple customer locations. You will be responsible for all aspects of supporting the TMC, including setup, diagnosis and configuration of tooling, maintaining the preventative maintenance and calibration schedule of the tooling population, the logistics of shipping tools in and out of the customer’s facility, and working directly with onsite employees and the customer.
You will report directly to the Regional Team Leader and provide support across all TMC locations within the region as business needs require. This role supports a wide range of customer sites and requires flexibility to travel and engage across multiple locations.
To succeed, you will need- Ability to travel up to 60% locally and 40% nationally – regionally dependent
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Preferred: 2 years’ experience in a production environment working with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling or data collection systems
- Interest and passion in furthering knowledge of industrial tooling
- Efficient in computer systems such as MS Office, networking and database experience
- At least 2‑3 years of experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
- Customer service experience and ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
- High School diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
