The reporting relationship reflects the organization’s desire to strengthen equipment ownership, operator training, SOP discipline, maintenance training, system accountability, and asset stewardship across the business.

This role owns the effectiveness and integrity of the Maintenance Connection system, including work order governance, documentation standards, cost tracking, reporting, and administrative follow-through. The Manager will translate maintenance data into practical training, improved store-level and manufacturing practices, better repair-versus-replacement decisions, and stronger asset performance across the organization.

  • Establish clear standards for work order creation, documentation, closeout, cost coding, and follow-up.
  • Review aged, incomplete, or inaccurate work orders and drive timely resolution.
  • Ensure labor, parts, vendor costs, and invoices are properly captured and allocated.
  • Build system discipline so Maintenance Connection becomes a reliable leadership, training, and decision-making tool.
Asset Performance & Reliability
  • Lead the Asset Performance Team across Store Operations and 802 Food Manufacturing by establishing goals, improving collaboration, and driving accountability around asset reliability.
  • Monitor asset performance to identify recurring failures, downtime trends, operator-related issues, and maintenance gaps.
  • Partner with Maintenance and Operations leaders to improve uptime on revenue-critical and production-critical equipment.
  • Support preventive maintenance compliance and help identify equipment that requires increased attention, replacement, or operator training.
  • Assist with repair-versus-replacement recommendations using cost, downtime, age, reliability, and revenue-risk factors.
  • Promote a proactive asset stewardship mindset across the organization.
Training, SOPs & Operator Enablement
  • Partner closely with Maintenance leadership, subject matter experts, and field technicians to develop, maintain, and continuously improve maintenance technician training checklists and competency standards.
  • Establish a formal review process with the Maintenance department to keep training materials current as equipment, processes, and operational requirements evolve.
  • Identify skill gaps through maintenance performance data, work order trends, technician feedback, and operational observations, then incorporate improvements into training programs.
  • Track training completion and ongoing qualification requirements to support technician development and consistency.
  • Promote consistency in maintenance practices across all locations through standardized training expectations and periodic training reviews.
