Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a customer in Annapolis, MD. This person will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across facility systems to ensure a safe, functional, and well maintained environment. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Perform routine inspections of building systems including lighting, plumbing fixtures, and electrical components.
• Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks, patching walls, and basic carpentry tasks.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of mechanical rooms and maintenance areas.
• Assist with office or equipment moves, including assembling or disassembling furniture.
• Ensure building grounds are maintained (e.g., snow removal assistance, trash pickup, walkway upkeep).
• Communicate facility issues to management and recommend corrective actions.
• Support emergency response situations, including power outages, spills, or equipment failures.

Compensation:

$25/hr to $35/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
