High School Graduate. Musthold a high school diploma and valid SC License. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES- Examinesschool grounds, to include athletic facilities, on a regular basis for needed improvement.
- Remains current on issues and successful practices associated with ground maintenance.
- Attends all required training.
- Mustoperate various types of lawn machinery in a productive and safe manner and provide low level maintenance as needed.
- Trains new grounds men on the productive and safe use of machinery.
- Must be able to work outside for eight (8) hours a day (flexible schedule as may be required) and lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

EVALUATIONPerformance of this job will be evaluated by the in accordance with provisions of Sumter School Districtpolicy.
