Second Shift: Monday–Friday, rotating weekends, holidays, and shifts required. Working environment occasionally wet, humid, with fumes, mechanical parts, extreme heat; moderate noise. Must walk, stand, use hands, frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Essential Functions- Maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly hospital environment.
- Perform specific cleaning tasks: dusting horizontal surfaces, maintaining assigned equipment, reporting needed repairs.
- Determine appropriate cleaning chemicals for various surfaces and apply finishing techniques to protect floor finishes.
- Adhere to company rules, procedures, and safety policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Be punctual and maintain regular attendance.
Mops, brooms, buckets, dust cloths, various cleaning materials, vacuums, safety equipment, and any other needed tools.
Requirements- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6 to 12 months documented experience as a Housekeeper (preferred).
- Working knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, equipment, safety practices related to housekeeping/janitorial industry.
- Read, write, and speak English.
- Pass a pre‑employment physical and annual physical thereafter.
- Pass NCIC‑III background check (including fingerprinting) and yearly review thereafter.
