Housekeeper - Full Time - The Plaza

Schedule:

Full-Time | 80 hours/pay period | 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

$15.60 - $19.55/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As a Housekeeper, you’ll be at the heart of our community, creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. Whether maintaining spotless living spaces, collaborating with the household team, or offering a warm smile, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our residents feel at home with dignity, respect, and safety.

• Maintain Clean and Comfortable Living Spaces
  - Ensure cleanliness in all areas, including resident rooms, common areas, and other support spaces. Coordinate housekeeping tasks with the housekeeping team, support resident move‑ins and move‑outs.
• Support Safety and Emergency Procedures
  - Adhere to infection control procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Respect residents’ time, personal space, and belongings, recognizing your role as a guest in their home. Assist in resident evacuations during emergencies.
• Documentation
  - Document in accordance with regulations and established policies and procedures.
• Other Duties as Assigned
  - Attend in-service training, carry out special projects as identified. The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or environmental services preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Proficient in English to ensure effective communication with residents, team members, and family.
• Understanding of safety and infection control procedures.
• Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting, bending, standing, and moving equipment.
• Ability to pass state mandated background check.
