Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician for Apache Junction Unified School District. Reports to Director of Facilities. Position is full-time, nonexempt, and salary is DOE with additional compensation for education beyond high school. Essential duties include securing buildings, handling emergency custodial tasks, performing minor repairs, assisting with district events, training custodians, maintaining custodial equipment, and reporting safety hazards. Professional competencies include customer service, time management, independent judgment, teamwork, reliability, adaptability, confidentiality, and positive role modeling.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, three years of relevant experience, and a valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card. Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds, and occasional climbing and exposure to various environmental conditions.
