Custodian Position
Our client, a dedicated educational institution, is seeking a Custodian to join their team. As a Custodian, you will be part of the Facilities Management Department supporting the main campus operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Clean and maintain various areas of the college facilities including offices, classrooms, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas following established routines and standards.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as light bulb replacements, ceiling tile repairs, and installing dispensers or signage.
- Set up and take down furnishings and equipment for events and meetings based on customer requests and work orders.
- Maintain exterior cleanliness and safety by removing waste, snow, ice, and leaves from entrances and immediate surroundings.
- Respond to emergencies such as fire, flood, power outages, and severe weather, ensuring safety and security of all building occupants.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of current work experience in custodial or maintenance-related fields.
- Valid driver's license required; lift truck operator certification is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs constantly, push and carry up to 70 lbs occasionally, and lift 25 to 90 lbs as needed.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
