position purpose
brewster village is recruiting for a temporary contract facility cleaner to work beginning on july 20th 2026 for approximately 60 days (may be longer). This position will be a contract employee employed by manpower and will not be an outagamie county employee. This position is responsible to maintain a safe and comfortable environment by assessing the resident household for potential hazards.
In addition implementing practices utilizing appropriate techniques regarding sanitation, infection control, and good cleaning practices is critical. The hours are full time 8:00am-4:30pm monday-friday with alternating weekends included. 40 hours per week.
duties and requirements include but are not limited to:
- assist with cleaning up to 41 villager rooms and living spaces.
- ability to clean at a hospital grade level.
- keeping the household clean and free from odors, accumulations of dirt, dust, rubbish, and safety hazards per state and federal requirements
- maintains the conditions of resident rooms and household common areas by cleaning and disinfecting furniture, emptying wastebaskets, vacuuming floors, dusting.
- completing deep cleans, mopping floors, carpet cleaning, and sanitizing of the bathrooms.
- ability to work semi-independently making sound decisions, budget time and work to efficiently complete tasks.
- demonstrated reliability in attendance and flexibility in work hours
- high school graduate or ged required
- hospital grade level cleaning experience strongly preferred
- strong experience in cleaning at a hospital grade level strongly preferred
- reliable work history that illustrates dependability
- ability to work wednesday-sunday, 40 hours per week from 8:00am-4:30pm
