Maintenance Technician in Appleton

Scope of Position

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving buildings and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or certifications like the Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician a plus.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with good driving record.
• Must be able to pass a caregiver background check.
• Must be able to lift 50lb.

• Maintain all property grounds including mowing, shoveling and coordinating heavy snow removal with contracted agencies, if appropriate.
• Maintain a recycling system as per all applicable government guidelines.
• Document maintenance activities, repair records, and inventory levels.
• Keep and maintain company fleet vehicles.
• Mechanical work may be hired out.
• Maintain a secure key inventory system.
• Maintain and coordinate annual inspections for licensing requirements.
• Pick up scheduled orders and donations with an agency vehicle.
• Perform and/or coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks.
• Perform client relocations per supervisor’s directions.
• Flexibility for unexpected events outside of normal work hours.
• Any other duties as assigned by the management team.
