Maintenance Technician (Full Time, Entry-Level)

Location: High Point Residence Chicago Northwest, Chicago IL

Schedule: Full Time, Sunday-Thursday daytime hours.

High Point Residence is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level, part-time position focused on ensuring our community remains safe, clean, and well‑maintained. Primary responsibilities include general maintenance of the building, equipment, and grounds, with a strong emphasis on floor care, garbage disposal, and overall building presentation.

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Assist with general upkeep of the facility, including grounds and equipment
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, especially floors and common areas
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and repairs
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Prior experience in a healthcare or residential care setting
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
