Job Summary

The Utility A Start is a bargaining unit position which requires general knowledge and ability to perform basic construction related skills and utility skills such as, but not limited to, use of air and hand tools, equipment operation, pipe fitting, MRSLIP, turn ons and shut offs, vehicle safety, safe material handling, after hours work and exposure to weather.

Duties and Responsibilities

Turn on and Light ups

Meter work - building and replacing

Leak and CO response

Locating facilities

Call out when judged qualified

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

* Good mechanical skills

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Availability for shift work and after hours call out when judged qualified

Education and Experience

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Must possess a valid PA Driver's license
