Position Summary

The Dry Cleaning Attendant is responsible for the safe and efficient cleaning, pressing, and finishing of garments and specialty items. This role supports customers by maintaining high‑quality standards for guest laundry, employee uniforms, and specialty textiles such as bathrobes and delicate fabrics.

• Sort, inspect, and tag incoming laundry items including guest garments, hotel linens, uniforms, and specialty items.
• Operate dry cleaning machines and washers according to manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.
• Select appropriate cleaning methods based on fabric type, soil level, and garment care instructions.
• Identify stains and apply appropriate spotting treatments prior to cleaning.

• Press, steam, or finish garments using specialized equipment (pressing machines, steamers, irons).
• Ensure garments meet quality standards for appearance, wrinkle‑free presentation, and cleanliness.
• Handle delicate and high‑value items with extra care to avoid damage.

• Process guest laundry requests with attention to detail, timeliness, and quality expectations.
• Clean and maintain employee uniforms to ensure professional presentation standards.
• Handle specialty hospitality items such as bathrobes, spa linens, and luxury fabrics.

• Inspect finished items for cleanliness, damage, or missing components (buttons, zippers).
• Re‑clean or re‑press items that do not meet quality standards.
• Report damaged or heavily stained items to supervisors.
