Atlas Roof Shingles, Underlayments & Ventilation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Ardmore, OK manufacturing facility.

Maintenance Supervisor Primary Responsibilities
  • Utilize proper and efficient use of maintenance personnel and machinery, including proper training.
  • Supervise maintenance and still‑yard employees and activities, assisting employees in the course of daily work activities.
  • Ensure proper job sequence and set up of work.
  • Verify accuracy of work performed and time allocated.
  • Assign and maintain workflow in compliance with production schedules.
  • Coordinate activities with any related departments.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safe work practices.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and records.
  • Promote and enforce compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, communicate a zero‑injury culture and housekeeping performance.
  • Oversee safe still yard operations and ensure equipment inspections, testing, and safety systems comply with applicable codes and standards.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with safe work practices.
  • Conduct daily workplace safety inspections and support root‑cause problem‑solving efforts.
  • Maintain accurate employee time and attendance records in ADP.
  • Manage staffing coverage for absences, vacations, shutdowns, and adverse weather events.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support production goals and objectives.
  • Maintain operational reports and records.
  • Coordinate purchasing required materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure yard operations comply with corporate, local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Oversee wastewater discharge and waste oil management activities.
  • Perform routine inspections of silo areas and equipment.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and support Quality Department initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of steam production, fluid systems, pumps, valves, and standard still yard maintenance practices.
  • Ensure proper FIFO inventory management for all materials.
  • Monitor coating temperatures during operations and downtime in accordance with supplier specifications.
Maintenance Supervisor Experience
  • 2‑year apprenticeship or related field preferred.
  • 3 years supervisory experience required.
  • Industry and manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience working with CMMS (computer management maintenance systems).
  • Experience with asset management to include vibration and thermography.
  • Experience in root‑cause analysis.
  • General knowledge of advanced mechanical, electrical, and pneumatics.
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Extensive knowledge of electricity and electronic equipment.
  • Variable Frequency Drives/Instrumentation and calibrations.
Maintenance Supervisor Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Effective communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Work with and mentor team members.
  • Sound organizational skills.
  • Communicate relevant information timely and effectively.
  • Follow up and thorough in a timely manner.
  • Solving problems in a timely manner.
  • Work with others and utilize groups to form solutions.
  • Basic mathematics.
  • Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, government regulations.
  • Present information and respond to questions from multiple sources.
  • Computer skills (WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint).
Maintenance Supervisor Education, Licenses & Certifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
