Maintenance Technician

We're seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our incredibly beautiful community running smoothly.
In this hands-on role, you'll handle the upkeep of community maintenance tasks, buildings, systems, and common areas, to maintain and support the beauty, safety, and quality of this exceptional HOA environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Partners with the Community Manager and Assistant Community Manager to provide consistent maintenance tasks throughout the community and work proactively on annual projects for the continuous care of buildings, building systems, common areas and other physical assets on the property.
- Perform duties related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, dry wall, pressure washing, welding and any other maintenance needs related to the designated property.
- Complete grounds work, which may include trash clean up, sweeping, landscaping, pressure washing, etc.
- Regular maintenance, if applicable, of water features, landscape and irrigation systems, etc.
- Troubleshoot maintenance problems to identify issues and necessary repairs.
- Complete assigned maintenance service requests.
- Point of contact for after hours' calls and emergencies.
- Properly operate, maintain and store all maintenance equipment.
- Vendor project oversight and progress reporting.
- Perform other related duties as directed.
- Ability to be professional with a positive mind set working with internal team and community residents.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Works indoors and outdoors.
- Requires physical ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, squat and bend.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, in crowded areas and in confined spaces.
- Ability to work on uneven surfaces, in hot, cold and wet conditions, climb and stand on ladders and scaffolding at heights of up to 50 feet.
- Able to handle various manual and power tools.
- May work independently or as part of a team.

Experience:

2 years:
Full time, paid, professional experience working in a maintenance role, preferably within an HOA or property management environment. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool equipment and chemicals, painting, dry wall and any other maintenance skills necessary to complete work orders. Valid Driver's License.
