Lock And Dam Tender
This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, San Carlos Irrigation Project in Peridot, Arizona. Responsibilities include performing the day-to-day maintenance of all facilities at the dam, maintaining and performing routine maintenance on the dam's outlet works system, performing miscellaneous maintenance repairs and replacements, aiding in the operation and routine maintenance on the dam's outlet works system, accurately recording all required hydrologic data, and performing monitoring of seepage and cracking and other items related to safety of dams.
Requirements include demonstrating the ability to perform Lock and Dam Tender work, responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of all facilities at the dam, providing, maintaining, and performing routine maintenance on the dam's outlet works system, performing miscellaneous maintenance repairs and replacements, aiding in the operation and routine maintenance on the dam's outlet works system, and performing monitoring of seepage and cracking and other items related to safety of dams.
