This Hotel Maintenance Technician position is available on a part-time weekend only basis
. You'll be working weekends, 2 days per week from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Team members must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed and are expected to adhere to scheduled start times.

As a part-time Hotel Maintenance Technician, you will help ensure the hotel's interior and exterior remain properly maintained and in good working order. You will complete daily property walk-throughs to identify maintenance, safety, security, and loss prevention concerns while proactively performing preventative maintenance and maintaining accurate records. Throughout the day, you will test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on hotel equipment and respond promptly to maintenance work orders and guest repair requests.

You will work closely with the Housekeeping and Front Office teams to support guest satisfaction and enhance communication between departments. You will greet guests warmly in public areas, assist with guest concerns when needed, and take appropriate service recovery measures when required. Additionally, you will participate in required training, help coordinate safety training, perform Person-In-Charge (PIC) hotel training, follow emergency procedures, maintain confidentiality of guest information, adhere to key control and lost-and-found procedures, and help maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment for guests and staff.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Maintenance experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to organize, plan ahead, and manage workload effectively
• Ability to prioritize work assignments, exercise good judgment, and pay close attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to complete job functions efficiently and under time constraints
• Ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds as well as bend, reach, kneel, pivot, and grip items while performing assigned tasks
• Ability to safely operate necessary hotel equipment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
