Your role and responsibilities

This role focuses on enhancing equipment uptime and reliability at the Ozark, AR Plant by driving preventive and predictive maintenance efforts, performing root cause analysis and providing technical expertise and continuous improvement support to maintenance teams.

You will be mainly accountable for
  • Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment availability and performance.
  • Perform root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Troubleshoot and support repairs of automated equipment, control systems, and production machinery.
  • Analyze equipment performance data and implement reliability improvements to reduce downtime and costs as well as other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 2 years OR Associate's Degree with minimum 4 years OR High School Diploma/GED with minimum 6 years industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated equipment troubleshooting.
  • Experience with PMs, PLCs, Control Logic and industrial machinery diagnostics.
  • Preferred Experience Includes: Familiarity with AutoCAD, SAP, Shopfloor Display, Workday or other maintenance management systems. Proficiency in analytical problem-solving tools such as TPM, RCFA, FMEA, or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and manuals and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
