Custodian; Academy​/Excel Center

Performs routine unskilled and semi-skilled manual work in custodian and labor activities. Work is performed within established procedures under both written and verbal instructions. Responsible for cleaning break rooms, restrooms, windows, and any other task assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sweeps, mops, clean windows, dust, take out trash, clean bathrooms. This duty is performed daily, about 25% of the time.

Move furniture, partitions, equipment, communications cabling, and other items as necessary to clean floors. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.

Operates floor care machinery including but not limited to vacuums, and extractors. This duty is performed daily, about 15% of the time.

Follows safety practices and procedures. This duty is performed daily, about 15% of the time.

Ensures that machinery and equipment are properly maintained. This duty is performed daily, about 15% of the time.

Adheres to safety and label instructions with all chemicals and cleaning agents used in their duties. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.

Maintains a general working knowledge of various chemicals. This duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time.

Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Education High School
