The Maintenance Supervisor plans, coordinates, and supervises all maintenance and housekeeping operations, including preventative maintenance, repairs, grounds maintenance, and regulatory compliance. We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to providing exceptional service in an active adult community environment. You will play a vital role in empowering the maintenance and housekeeping team while protecting the physical space that supports quality care for the residents.

In this role you will:

• Monitor building systems and ensure safety compliance
• Implement and oversee the preventative maintenance schedules
• Perform pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, equipment checks, and general pool upkeep
• Demonstrate fiscal responsibility with the annual operating budget
• Promptly respond to urgent maintenance and housekeeping needs
• Monitor the work order request system
• Perform supervisory functions such as:
  • Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and orientation process for new employees
  • Provide proper training, coaching and supervision to employees
  • Promptly address employee disciplinary action
  • Implement staffing schedules and work assignments

Who you are:

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience or technical training
• Ability to lead others effectively, respectfully, and with integrity
• Working knowledge of standard computer applications
• Strong customer service skills and professionalism
