Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Analyst:

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and Risk-Based Capital reports

• Analyze general ledger activity and prepare account reconciliations

• Record and reconcile monthly investment activity

• Prepare financial reports for management, regulatory agencies, and state departments

• Support audits, reserve valuation schedules, and investment analysis activities

• Prepare monthly sales analysis, fixed asset schedules, and prepaid expense reporting

Qualifications for the Accounting Analyst:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience

• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software

• Insurance industry experience is a plus
