Autos of Chicago is a growing independent dealership specializing in pre‑owned luxury vehicles. With our in‑house service department and body shop, we provide top‑level maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on high‑end brands such as BMW, Mercedes‑Benz, Audi, Porsche, Land Rover, and more.

We’re looking for skilled automotive technicians/mechanics who take pride in their craft and want to work with premium vehicles in a professional, team‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles (domestic and luxury imports).
  • Conduct inspections (safety, UCI, reconditioning) and provide repair recommendations.
  • Complete repair orders accurately in the DMS with clear technician notes.
  • Work with the Service Manager and Parts Department to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Perform warranty and customer‑pay repairs to manufacturer and dealer standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
  • Assist with vehicle reconditioning for front‑line readiness.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic (luxury/high‑line preferred).
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ase certifications or manufacturer‑specific training preferred (but not required).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
